Miami For Tourists

With over 12 million visitors annually making the pilgrimage to Florida's metro Mecca, you can bet there is a ton of things for tourists to see and do in beautiful, sunny Miami. Whether you're looking for some sun and surf or a little wining and dining, one thing is for sure, you'll never be bored with a visit to Miami.

Many of those millions of tourists who visit Miami every year come by sea through the famous Port of Miami. Known worldwide as the Cruise Capital of the World, the port welcomes more than 3 million passengers to Miami's shore every year. Home to the headquarters of over a half dozen of the world's most prominent cruise lines, there's nothing more relaxing than a trip on the high seas aboard a world class cruise ship, save maybe a spa package Massachusetts-style.

For those who like their sailing a bit more hands on, test your sailboat keel in the warm Miami waters. Whether you're experienced or novice, there are plenty of rental boats and chartered sailings around the Miami coast to help you enjoy the inviting Miami waters. If you're looking for a more intensive water voyage, there are several chartered fishing and diving expeditions to embark on in the open sea. The Biscayne National Park is home to the only living tropical reef in the continental U.S., making it a rare treat for rookies and experts alike.

Tours of the Florida Everglades give visitors a look into one of the country's most unique and vital natural landscapes. Even graduates of a faux finish course will appreciate the beauty and vitality of one of Florida's greatest treasures. Like so many things, the Everglades is a habitat in danger of disappearing forever, so it's important for everyone to support and protect them. Like geriatric home health services, support for the Everglades will ensure their long life and prosperity.

If you prefer the sand to the surf, there are dozens of beaches where you can soak up the sun, including the infamous Miami Beach. Even more infamous perhaps is South Beach, just one of the many exotic venues Miami offers to its vibrant local gay community. Miami is also a great destination for both weddings and honeymoons alike. Even the finest Mississauga wedding venues pale next to Miami's coast or ocean scenes.

When the sun sets, choose from any of the world class restaurants Miami has to offer, including some right off the beach. Miami's multicultural identity is showcased best in its cuisine, with tastes from all over the world for guests to enjoy.

For a bit of exercise, try any of Miami's local golf courses, tennis courts, or other world class sporting venues. If you're more spectator than participant, Miami is home to teams from every major sporting league, so there's something to watch any time of year.

Whatever your reasons for coming, a few days in Miami will give you a ton of reasons to stay.
